Why WooCommerce

WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so you own the shop outright — no monthly platform fee per sale, and no lock-in to one provider. It connects to the South African payment gateways your customers already use, and it can be extended when your business needs something no template offers.

What a Watts Digital store includes

  • Product catalogue set up with categories, variations, brands and images
  • South African payment gateways and shipping rules
  • A staging copy, so changes are tested before your customers see them
  • Search foundation: a keyword map and target terms on every category page
  • Three months of Store Care, then R4,950 a month — four-hour response, one hour if orders are down

Proof: North Valley — 351 products, nothing lost

Client work

  • 351products
  • 580variations
  • 85categories
  • 8brands
  • 342product images

North Valley sells animal-health products online. We are rebuilding their store on WooCommerce: 351 products, 580 variations, 85 categories, 8 brands and 342 product images, migrated and verified count by count against the old site, with a species-led catalogue and a search built for how their customers look for products.

Custom features when a store needs them

Some shops outgrow plugins. For Body Intellect we built a custom class-booking system on WooCommerce: it holds a client's place while they pay, releases it if payment fails, lets instructors reschedule or cancel with automatic client notices, and takes payment through Netcash. Every sale WooCommerce records goes through an API integration to StoreHub, which raises the invoice in Sage. More on our custom WordPress development.
