Website redesign and migration

Website redesign services — a new site without losing what the old one earned

A website redesign should bring in more work, not wipe out the Google rankings your old site took years to earn. We redesign and rebuild websites for South African businesses, move them onto WordPress when that's the right home, and map every old address to its new one so search engines follow you across. Fixed prices from R18,500 ex VAT.

When a redesign is the right call

  • The site looks dated next to your competitors, or doesn't work properly on a phone
  • You can't update it yourself, or every change needs a developer
  • It's slow, insecure or built on a platform nobody supports any more
  • It gets visitors but not enquiries

If none of those is true, you may not need a redesign at all. Our free search check will tell you, and we'll say so if the fix is smaller.

How we protect your rankings

Before anything changes we list every page on the old site that earns traffic or links. Each of those gets a new address and a permanent redirect on the day the new site goes live. For large sites, our Authority package (R115,000) adds a full redirect map and a technical audit for up to 40 pages.

Moving to WordPress

Shaftcon has just commissioned us to move its website onto WordPress, and we rebuilt nine websites for Jagdem in four months. Migration means your content, images and structure come across intact, and you end up on a platform you can update yourself.

What does a website redesign cost?

The same fixed packages as a new site: R18,500 for up to five pages, R42,000 for up to twelve, R85,000 for an online shop and R115,000 for large sites. Full prices and what's included.

It shows whether Google can find your site, what it ranks for and what's holding it back, in plain English. Helene Jonck, who co-owns the business, follows up personally — and if the answer is that you don't need us, she'll say so.
