Cracking The Influence Code: a speaker’s site, rebuilt
David Watts’ speaker and author site, designed, built and run by us. It moved from WordPress to a static Astro build in August 2026.

The brief
The site sells two things: David as a keynote speaker, and his book, Cracking The Influence Code. Event organisers need the talks, the proof and a way to book, fast. Readers need the book and a free first chapter. The new site replaced the WordPress one at the same address.
What we built
A static Astro site on Cloudflare Pages. Its sitemap lists 34 pages, including five keynote pages, and the booking form sits on the contact page, the event organisers page and every keynote page. Fonts are self-hosted, with no third-party font request. Images are served as AVIF and WebP. Every change is built and checked before it goes live, and merging it is what deploys it. Nothing ships from a laptop.
